£120k base x 2 OTE

We are working exclusively with a high growth SaaS company to find a Head of Sales to work remotely on a full time basis.


Our client is a market leading compliance SaaS platform helping legal, public sector, financial services and recruitment industries to digitally verify and onboard staff or clients in minutes.

By managing the end-to-end compliance and onboarding process securely from a single platform, they are able to ensure compliance and onboard faster – saving time and money while reducing complexity.

With strong sales through a team of 3 Business Development Managers and 1 Enterprise Business Development Manager, it’s now time to bring in a Head of Sales as they enter the next growth phase.

Key Highlights:

  • Founded 8 years ago and have already accumulated a client base of over 500 clients with 100% retention.
  • Consistently doubled revenue year-on-year with little marketing and consistent approach to sales.
  • Wide-variety client base spanning from SME law firms, government, healthcare and mulit-national recruitment agencies. Deals ranging from £25k ARR to £500k ARR.
  • 3 x BDM and 1 Enterprise BDM currently in place with the budget to scale the team throughout the year (currently closing a funding round).
  • Solid pipeline conversion at 35% conversion from qualified lead, currently all leads are inbound.
  • Working directly with the CEO to develop the sales function into a system for success.
  • Up to £120k base x 2 OTE.

About The Role:

  • Creating and developing effective sales strategies to increase new business sales by implementing qualification and sales frameworks to increase lead conversion.
  • Developing an outbound strategy targeted towards larger organisations with higher ACVs.
  • Leading and nurturing a team of 4 BDMs to set them up for success to take revenue growth from £3.6m ARR to £6m ARR in 12 months and then £12m ARR the following year.
  • Support key deals by acting as the executive sponsor and coordinating internal resources.
  • Setting up an effective system to track key pipeline indicators, this will include top of funnel, conversion rates and velocity with consistent in-depth analysis to improve performance.
  • Finding repeatability and enforcing effective hiring strategies that will fuel future sales hires and team growth and YoY revenues.
  • Staying up to date on industry trends, competition and customer needs.
  • Providing accurate forecasts and reports to the Founder and CEO.

Requirements of a Successful Head of Sales Include:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a B2B software sales environment.
  • Experience selling a key value-driver is a must have, either recruitment screening or KYC in highly regulated markets.
  • Strong background in developing and growing sales teams – important to be able to nurture reps whilst also keeping high performers motivated.
  • Able to set up an outbound function that is effective on targeting a larger-ACV client base.
  • Adaptable when it comes to implementing a sales process that works for their specific product and market.
  • Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
